Work is the lens through which people judge how the economy is faring. All countries of the world have great problems in the area of employment. In this age of economic and technological breakthroughs there are trade-offs between the quality and quantity of employment, and between social expenditure and investment. Integration will mean job losses in certain sectors and creation in others. This Report deals with the problem of a condition and prospects of the European labour market, influence of process of globalization on employment.
