Annotation
This work is devoted to Russia's role and performance in
international organizations of Europe, Euroatlantic space and
Eurasia, as well as UN and «The Group of Eight» in approaching
problems of international security and in particular in
counteracting new challenges and threats. Complexities and
difficulties faced by Russian diplomacy, while protecting national
interests of Russia, are analyzed. Evaluation is presented of the
activisation of Russian policy in international organizations in the
beginning of the 21st century and its contribution to
solving global and regional issues of international security. |
