Moldavians and the Romanians in Moldova. Reports of the IE RAS, №
206, М., 2007.
Annotation
The political evolution of
the post-Soviet Moldavia has been unique. Moldavia is the only post
- communist state where a party of communists came to power. At the
same time, it is a democratic country which had twice had a peaceful
and constitutional transfer of government from a ruling political
force to opposition and the only country in the CIS which replaced a
presidential system with a parliamentary one. The paper links these
unique features with certain characteristics of the Moldavian
national consciousness. |
