Annotation
The study examines traditional
issues of European security (arms control) as well as new threats
that become increasingly important in an international security
environment of the 21st century. It focuses on the challenges
emerging in the new context that Russia and its European partners
face, the actions aiming to cope these challenges they undertake.
The authors scrutinize the role of Russia in dealing with new
security issues, its ability to cope its internal problems and
influence the international agenda. The mechanisms of implementation
of Russia's European vector in foreign and security policy are also
considered. This (second) conclusive part of the work is devoted to
new realities in a sphere of European security analysis. |
