ANNOTATION
International conference on the 35th
anniversary of Moscow Treaty between USSR and FRG was held in the
Institute of Europe Russian Academy of Sciences on September 23,
2005. It was organized by the Institute of Europe RAS and by
Fridrich Ebert Foundation (FRG). The leit-motif of the conference
was whether were on the way to Europe without frontiers. The
discussion was attended by Russian and German specialists. The
conference was opened by Director of the Institute of Europe
Academician N.P. Shemelev. Ambassador extraordinary and
plenipotentiary of FRG in the Russian Federation Jürgen Schmid and
Head of the Representation of Fridrich Ebert Foundation in the
Russian Federation Mattes Bube made their speeches of welcome. |
